/.../
DESCRIPTION:
In the Ref. /A/ email, Captain Okan identifies two items that he believes to be in error in both the Ref. /B/ and Ref. /C/ Flight Crew Operations Manuals. Captain Okan's comments are repeated below, followed by our reply.
RESPONSE:
Question 1: Descent Procedure.
It's written that "The pilot who will do the takeoff updates changes to the takeoff briefing as needed".
Answer 1: The statement regarding takeoff, which appears in NP.21 - Descent Procedure, should not be present. We will correct this error in the June, 2010 block release of your (Ref. /B/) FCOM, as well as the Ref. /C? FCOM.
Question 2. Supplementary section. Windshear. Takeoff.
"For optimum takeoff performance, use flaps 5, 10 (???) or 15 unless limited by obstacle clearance and/or climb gradient".
Answer 2: Your Question 2 statement is under review, and we will respond with further information, once we have completed our review.
We thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, and apologize for any confusion caused.

Через некоторое время, нужное для детального исследования второго вопроса (касающегося положения закрылков 10 на Классике, которое НЕ является взлетным положением), пришло второе письмо:
RESPONSE:
Hello Captain Okan,
Greetings from Seattle. In my Ref. /B/ response to your Ref. /A/ email, I indicated that we were evaluating your second question, regarding the windshear flap.
The reference to Flaps 10 on SP.16.21 will be removed for the 737-3/4/500 models. Only the 737-200ADV and 737-6/7/8/900 airplanes have Flaps 10 certified for takeoff. For the 737-3/4/500 models, Flaps 5 or 15 is therefore the recommended flap for suspected windshear.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will revise the Ref. /C/ and Ref. /D/ FCOM's to remove the Flaps 10 reference, and this change will be incorporated into the December, 2010 revision.

Вот, чешу репу, неужели десяткам операторов не было дела до таких "мелочей" раньше?:)
